Church Mission Statement
believers in the faith, equipping them to go out and make
disciples of all peoples through the power of the Holy Spirit.
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
We believe God spoke the Heavens and the earth into existence.
We believe that man's relationship with God was broken when sin entered the world.
We believe that the relationship between God and man can be restored only through faith in Jesus Christ, God's Son, who has been with God through all eternity.
We believe that God provided us with an opportunity of salvation simply because He loves us, and that our salvation is not based on what we have done, but what He has done for us.
And we thank Him for His love, mercy and grace.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Matthew 28:20 commands us to "teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you".
Flemington Baptist Church is active in many areas of ministry, within our church family and within our community.
Our PastorBrother Jerry Philman came to know Christ as his Savior at the age of 17 during a revival in Gainesville, FL. He became Flemington Baptist's full time pastor, on October 21, 2012 and has also served in the capacity of Deacon and taught Sunday School for many years. Brother Jerry was raised here in the local area and has also been a member of Flemington Baptist since 1977, along with his lovely wife Janice.
Brother Jerry reflected on how good the Lord has been to him over the years and felt the Lord impressing upon him the need to become a full time minister in the service of the Lord. So on January 11, 2009 he was ordained as a minister of the Gospel. He served as a supply pastor where ever the Lord sent him for the last few years prior to becoming our full time pastor. He and his wife, Janice, would encourage you to seek the happiness and fulfillment that can only be found in The Lord Jesus Christ and to be able to experience the love of a caring church family.
Bro Jerry's Life Verse
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
- James 4:17
Church History of Flemington Baptist Church
Trees were donated by citizens of the community and hauled to Cooper's Mill, located where the church now stands. Work on the building was begun in the Fall of 1884. On May 22, 1886 a conference was held to change the name to Flemington and the Church was dedicated Flemington Baptist.
In December 1947, Reverend A.Y. Woodham appointed a committee to look into buying a Chapel from Camp Blanding. An application for purchase was made and sent, along with a check for $90.00. Upon approval it was agreed to send another check for $810.00. Purchase was approved and the building was moved in April 1948. The new Church was dedicated on September 11, 1949. Bro. Fred Junior was the Pastor at the time.
